If using a compass for exact measurements set your compass to 57.5 mm radius and scribe from the lid’s center. Most lids have a small molded mark in the center, which works perfectly for alignment. Drilling Bolt Holes: Use the top lid as a layout pattern to drill 12 clearance holes (.257\" diameter — for 1\/4-20 bolts, or drill for M6 bolts). Assembly: Place the bottom adapter plate under the lid. Sandwich the lid between adapter plates. Use 3\/4\" long stainless steel bolts with washers on top and bottom + a nut underneath.
